Amanda's tie-dye birthday party!

Amanda turned 9 years old in September. She has wanted a tie-dye birthday party since her last birthday, so that is what she got. She invited three of her friends from school, her cousins Brya, Nolan and Thea, and her little sister Alayna. We tie-dyed shirts, socks and bandanas. It was a lot of fun! The older girls were creative and did a great job with the whole process. We hung the creations on a clothesline in the front yard.

Then everyone created their own pita pizza for lunch. Thanks to Kevin for manning the kitchen! Thanks to my sister, Raelynn, for all her help!

Then we played a funny game that the kids had a lot of fun with. You get a pair of tights for each kid. Then you roll up a pair of socks and stuff them into the ends of the tight legs. The kids put the tights on their head and the chase begins. Each kid tries to pull the tights off of other kids heads. The winner is the one person left with tights on their head.
